OMG

Generally I am not an impulsive person ……..apart from shopping that is. I have to be honest, the odd temptation gets the better of me. I have broken out and felt palpitations and a little hot under the collar when I have bought something well expensive. My last big fashion splurge was a pair of Louboutins, which have pride of place in my wardrobe and hardly worn! ‘These boots are made for walking’

The other was a fab YSL handbag.

Smart + Chique YSL never dates

Oh forgot about the Jimmy Choo’s and the gorgeous ACNE Deep Amarone Courts!

But my far the most impulsive thing was to accept my husband invitation to emigrate to the USA!

No regrets, but do miss London & Leeds for shopping! You have to stroll around Browns Shoe Boutique on Brooke St Mayfair,

Browns History

Joan Burstein created Browns with her husband Sidney in 1970. Once a small boutique housed on the ground floor at 27 South Molton Street, Browns rapidly became one of London’s main fashion destinations and grew quickly, expanding through five connecting townhouses.

Mrs Burstein is credited with discovering such talents as John Galliano[1], Alexander McQueen, Hussein Chalayan and Comme des Garçons. Browns was the first store in the UK to stock Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Armani, Donna Karan and Jil Sander[2].

The store is dedicated to promoting new design talent and has recently championed designers such as Phillip Lim and Alexander Wang.

In July 2011, Mrs Burstein appeared as VOGUE.COM’s Today I’m Wearing guest, giving readers a peek into her amazing wardrobe and sartorial choices by posting a picture daily for one month.

Browns currently has six stores: Browns, Labels for Less and Browns Focus on South Molton Street, Browns Bride on Hinde Street, Browns Shoe Boutique on Brooke St Mayfair and a smaller Browns store on Sloane Street, Knightsbridge.

What’s the most impulsive thing (s) you have ever done? Send me your secrets or splurges!
