My thoughts about the master bathroom and bedroom were to keep them neutral and relaxing. I love the colours gold and duck egg blue, so I went in search of ideas.

Master Bathroom

We wanted a ‘soak tub’ preferably an air bubble spa to add a dash of luxury. To achieve this, we knocked down a wall between the previous tub and shower. This then gave enough room for the tub. A pony wall was created between the bath tub and the new shower unit. Custom build glass panels and shower doors opened up the space and added more light from the window over the bath tub to the room. Additional light came from the overhead shower light and the twin lights over the swivel vanity mirrors.

Floor and ceiling tiles were from Tile & Stone in Douglasville. They have a huge selection to choose from and the service is excellent.

Note; We deliberately did not install a TV, DVD players etc in the bedroom. We believe that a bedroom should be for relaxing in and sleeping. Therefore, we have succeeded in creating our perfect master bath and bedroom.

And so to bed!
