To dine in style with Ladyg.
Before our move ‘Across the Pond,’ we had to make a list of what we needed to set up home here in the USA. One of the first things my hubby and I bought was a dinner service.
My husband had rented an apartment in Atlantic Station. On one of my trips over here we were checking out the shops and restaurants there, when we came across Pier Imports (no longer in Atlantic Station).
This pattern reminded me of liquorice toffee we used to have as children.
We both really loved the plate design. Made of glass, and pretty unique I would say, we were instantly attracted to them. The good news was that they were included in a ‘close-out’ sale.
Needless to say that one thing led to another and suddenly we had a dinner service.
The dinner plates are not wide in diameter, so you can practice sensible eating portions – or….you could always go back for seconds!
As much as I like to see pure white tableware, I love this design, no two plates are the same. The black glass licquorice-swirl dinner plates are complimented by polished stainless steel charger plates, tulip black dessert/soup dishes, silver faux apples and pears, black and silver napkins with two black striped tea candle holders, all from Pier Imports.
Wedgwood Napkin ring holders a gift.
Wine holder – Chateau Elan Winery.
Large goblet wine glasses – Z Gallerie.
Red wine glasses – Crate & Barrel
The table floral centre piece is designed by myself.
Do you have a special dinner service?
