London Fashion Week has brought together the best of British
and international design talent in London, the world’s newly crowned fashion
capital.
London Fashion Week has already come to an end – the five-day event flew by. Book ended by Marc Jacobs taking the final slot in New York and
Gucci opening in Milan, LFW had a very small to window to strut
their stuff. This aroused a milay of disgust from the model agencies and of some London designers, with Gucci cherry picking models for its collection in Milan.
On a more positive note here and some of the highlights.

And so to the Catwalk: In no particular order
Tribal touches appeared at Burberry in the form of raffia detailing and patterned knits.
Metallics,embellishments, tribal, ethnic by David Koma
Colour was the story at nearly every show, many going for sherbert hues like those seen at Mulberry as well as the electric brights seen as Roksanda Ilicinic among others.
Lace and sheer fabrics, appeared at Temperley, Giles Deacon & Julien MacDonald.
And so the show goes on to Milan.
